The group started in 1996 under a different name and in 1998 the group went from a six person band down to a trio. Then in 2004 the Lord added the newest member to the group and formed the quartet. Won by Faith has been through many changes over the past few years but the one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to make that old time revival fire a reality. Won by Faith has a burning desire to minister to hurting people, uplift the Saints, and lead lost souls to a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hailing from Dallas, Georgia, this group has talent, commitment, excitement, experience and more to ensure that when you attend a personal appearance by Won by Faith, it will be an event you won't soon forget.

Singing pure southern gospel music for over 10 years, Won by Faith has carried this testimony and ministry all across the southeastern United States.

Barry Harp - sings lead and is a newcomer to southern gospel. However he has sang for many years as part of the praise team at his church. Barry, with a tremendous range and smooth lead vocal, is sure to be a blessing for he truly knows who he's singing about.

Doug Tate - sings baritone and got his start singing and running sound with a family group while he lived in Florida. Doug has a strong baritone voice and a desire to minister to people through music with an awesome testimony which glorifies the Lord.

Richard Kilgore - sings bass and is the only original member of WBF. Richard got his start singing lead and baritone with The Georgians along with Roy from 1990-1993. Richard has a rare and unique quality of bass, and with a desire to sing for the Lord, no doubt will thrill Southern Gospel fans of all ages.

Roy Hanson - sings tenor and started singing over 20 years ago, ten of which was with The Georgians Quartet from his home town of Newnan, GA. Roy has a powerful tenor voice and quick wit that is sure to be a crowd pleaser and a great witness for the Lord.

Accomplishments & the Future:
God has blessed this group far beyond measure. The unity that has drawn us together also binds us to the building of God's Kingdom. It started with entering and winning the "Tony Peace Gospel Hour Talent Contest" in 2000. Then being able to sing with such groups as: The Florida Boys, The Dixie Echo's, The Anchorman and Palmetto State Quartet. The years ahead look exciting and we believe God's doing a mighty work with Won by Faith. It's our constant prayer that he will use us as he sees' fit and that we will be obedient to follow his calling. Truly we are Won by Faith!
